Free WWTP health check — fully compliant with QCVN 40:2025

By 1 Jan 2032, ALL Vietnamese factories must comply with QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT. BioGreenTech engineers visit your site, analyse 15 parameters at a VILAS-certified lab, run jar tests and deliver a 25–35 page report in 5 business days.

  • On-site factory survey
  • 15 parameters at a VILAS lab
  • Jar test with formula recommendation
  • 25–35 page PDF report
  • Results in 5 business days
  • 100% free – NDA protected

3 real risks if your WWTP fails QCVN 40:2025 after 1 Jan 2032

Administrative fines up to VND 1 billion

Decree 45/2022/ND-CP sets fines up to VND 1 billion for effluent violations. Provincial environmental authorities can suspend operations.

Losing FDI contracts

Nike/Adidas/Uniqlo/Samsung clients require RBA, ZDHC and EcoVadis compliance. Failing QCVN 40:2025 = losing supplier certification within one quarter.

Upgrade costs double near the deadline

From 2030 all plants rush to upgrade → equipment, engineer and chemical prices surge. Acting in 2026 saves 40–60% of the budget.

WWTP health check process · 5 business days

01

Registration & confirmation

Day 1 · 2 hours

You submit the registration form. Within 2 business hours the engineering team calls to confirm details, collect documentation (P&ID, equipment list) and schedule the site visit.

Deliverable

Departure schedule + document checklist

02

Site survey & sampling

Day 2 · Full day

Lead engineer + monitoring engineer visit the site and survey the entire system: equalization, biological, sedimentation and disinfection tanks. Samples are taken at 4 points (inlet, post-mechanical, post-biological, outlet), sealed and transported to the lab.

Deliverable

On-site inspection report, equipment photos, sampling point map

03

Sample analysis & jar test

Day 3 · 2 lab days

The lab measures 15 QCVN 40:2025 parameters: pH, BOD5, COD, TSS, total N, total P, ammonia, nitrate, sulfide, oil/grease, coliform, heavy metals. Jar tests recommend the optimal chemical formula.

Deliverable

15-parameter analysis results + jar test chart of 3 formulas

04

Report & upgrade scenarios

Day 4 · 1 day

The lead engineer compiles the data, compares it against QCVN 40:2025 columns A/B and proposes 2–3 upgrade scenarios with preliminary cost estimates and payback period (ROI).

Deliverable

25–35 page evaluation PDF + executive summary slides

05

Presentation & management discussion

Day 5 · 1 hour

The lead engineer and BioGreenTech project director present on-site or online, answer questions and discuss a suitable upgrade roadmap.

Deliverable

Final PDF + slides + meeting minutes. No obligation for follow-on services.

QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT

New national technical standard for industrial wastewater

Issued with Circular 06/2025/TT-BTNMT dated 28 Feb 2025 by MoNRE, replacing 11 old standards (including QCVN 40:2011). Applies to industrial plants generating wastewater, except oil & gas, mining and textile dyeing (which have separate standards).

01/09/2025

Mandatory for NEW projects generating wastewater

31/12/2031

Existing facilities may follow the old QCVN until this date

01/01/2032

Mandatory for ALL facilities to comply with QCVN 40:2025

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. The programme covers the first 30 factories in 2026 and is completely free, including engineer travel, lab analysis and the report. No hidden fees, no obligation for follow-on services.

Can we join if our plant has no WWTP yet?

Yes. If your plant has no WWTP, we survey the wastewater sources, recommend a suitable technology and estimate new-build cost. The report then focuses on new design rather than retrofit.

Our plant is far from HCMC (e.g. Bac Ninh, Hai Phong)?

We serve nationwide. For plants in northern/central Vietnam travel remains free within the 30-slot programme, but scheduling may take 1–2 extra weeks so trips can be consolidated.

How much does a QCVN 40:2025 upgrade typically cost?

It depends on capacity and scope. Minimum (chemical optimisation only): VND 50–150M. Standard (equipment retrofit): VND 300–800M. Full (technology upgrade): VND 1.5–4B. The report gives specific figures for your plant.

Is our plant information kept confidential?

Yes. All engineers sign an NDA before site visits. Data, photos and P&ID diagrams are stored only on BioGreenTech internal systems and never shared with third parties. After 12 months data is deleted if you do not continue with our services.

Can we see a sample report first?

Yes. After submitting the form you receive an automated email with a sample report (previous client data redacted) so you can preview the structure and level of detail. Request it via info@biogreentech.vn if it does not arrive.
