CONSULTING – DESIGN – RETROFIT

Design and retrofit of WWTPs compliant with QCVN 40:2025

From drawings to commissioning: we design the process around your actual wastewater characteristics, never copy-paste templates, and commit to effluent parameters in the contract.

What we do

  • Diagnose the cause of exceedances: loading, biomass, chemicals, equipment or operation
  • Process design (physico-chemical, AO/MBBR/MBR biology) based on real flow and characteristics
  • Cost estimates for 2–3 scenarios with ROI and construction schedule
  • Construction, biomass seeding, commissioning and verification monitoring before handover

Process

01

Survey & load measurement

Measure real flow, sample at peak hours and establish design loading instead of using estimates.

02

Technology selection

Compare physico-chemical, biological and membrane options by CAPEX, OPEX and available footprint.

03

Design & drawings

Produce P&ID, equipment layout, tank calculations and construction drawings with a bill of materials.

04

Construction & commissioning

Phased construction so production never stops, 3–6 weeks of biomass seeding and acceptance based on lab results.

Who needs this service

Plants warned or fined for effluent exceedances
Plants expanding production that must upgrade WWTP capacity
New projects needing a QCVN 40:2025-compliant design from the start

Frequently asked questions

How long does a WWTP retrofit take?

Chemical and operational adjustments: 2–6 weeks. Equipment retrofit: 2–4 months. Full technology upgrade: 6–12 months, depending on site conditions and permitting.

Must production stop during the retrofit?

Usually not. We phase the work and use standby tanks or temporary storage to keep the wastewater flow continuous during construction.

Do you support permitting after the retrofit?

Yes. After the retrofit we prepare permit amendments, update periodic reports and the monitoring plan so records match the new system.
